1. What is the difference between a heatstrip and a heatpump?
2. I was wondering if you have any units that fit the crank-out style windows; is there a separate installation kit?
3. Are the measurements listed,(height, width, depth), the actual unit, or the outside sleeve measurement. I am trying to fit my existing through the wall openings.

ANSWER
1. What is the difference between a heatstrip and a heatpump?
Answer:Simply put, a Heat Strip is an air conditioner that uses an electric heat strip for heating needs. A Heat Pump is an air condiitoner that has a reversing valve, instead of the heat coming out of the back, the reversing valve reverses the cycle and it now comes out of the front, making your air conditioner a heater.
2. I was wondering if you have any units that fit the crank-out style windows; is there a separate installation kit?
Answer:Check our casement units page, no sleeves are made for this type of window.You will have to make a custom installation for the casement unit.
3. Are the measurements listed,(height, width, depth), the actual unit, or the outside sleeve measurement. I am trying to fit my existing through the wall openings.
Answer:It is the measurement of the outside diameter of the sleeve of the unit.

Answer:Yes, all of our units are brand new unless specified on the page.
5. How do you figure out how many BTU's you need.
Answer:Usually for every 400 square feet we recommend 12,000 BTU'S
6. Do all air conditioners come with sleeves?
Answer:No, Some models are replacements only.Check specs to see if the model comes with a sleeve and if the unit is a wall unit.
7. Is a window kit included on all units?
Answer:No, Some models are replacements only.Check specs to see if the model comes with a window kit and if the unit is a window unit and what type of window unit.
8. What is the diffence between a Window kit and a Trim kit?
Answer:Window Kit come with depending on manufacturer wither is side curtains for up and down window or sometimes window support brackets.Trim Kits generaly is a hard plastic trim type frame around the air conditioner unit to fill the gap between the air conditioner and the exsiting sleeve in the wall.
9. Do room air conditioners dehumidifier ?
Answer:All air conditioners take mosture out of the air but they are not considered a dehumidifier on there own. We do sell individual dehumidifiers
10. What "EER" is all about?
Answer:The "Energy Efficiency Ratio" (EER) of a room air conditioner is a rating of its operating efficiency. To determine the EER, you divide the BTU/Hr. cooling capacity by the amount of electric power consumed (watts). The higher the EER, the more cooling your customer gets for his money and the lower the operating costs for comparable cooling capacity. Each model's EER is clearly marked on it energy hang tag.
11. Do you have Window and Wall Air Conditioners that don't stick out of my wall?
Answer:Yes, They are called Solided Sided Sleeve's. And if you wish to order an Air Conditioner with Sold Sided Sleeve's We would need to know the height and width of the area you would be putting the Air Conditioner. Along with what voltage you would need for the air Condtioner.
12. What is the difference between 115 Volts Air Conditioner and 230 Volts Air conditioner?
Answer:115 Volts Air Conditoner has standard voltage in your home/office. 230 Volts takes different breaker amps (examples:15 amp Tandem, 20 amp Perpendicular, or 30 amp Large Tandem) which give you a different plug type.(Picture of the different plug types go to question 12)
13. Do I need to purchase a bucket for my Portable Air Conditioner?
Answer:No, most Portable Air Conditioners come with a bucket.If the Portable does not come with a bucket it will be specified in the specs of that unit.
